My Journey

I’m Kristina Hirschfeld, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with over 15 years of clinical experience, primarily at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. Throughout my career, I cared for thousands of patients, many with complex medical conditions. Supporting people through their health challenges has always been a deep honor and a meaningful part of my work. Along the way, I also mentored dietetic interns and taught nutrition and health-related classes.

Over time, despite caring for others, I reached a point where I needed to turn that same attention inward. Chronic stress, long hours, and the pace of life began to affect my own well-being. I chose to pause, focus on my health, spend time with my family, and rebuild my energy from the inside out. That period became a turning point. Through thoughtful changes in nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress support, I experienced firsthand what sustainable recovery really requires.

This personal chapter deepened my understanding of how easily driven, caring people can become depleted — and how powerful simple, consistent lifestyle shifts can be when they are realistic and supportive.

That experience inspired me to create Wellco Studio — a space where clinical knowledge meets practical, everyday wellness. My work now blends evidence-based nutrition with a calm, lifestyle-centered approach to help others feel better in their real lives.

Beyond my work, I’m a wife and mother of two boys. I find joy in outdoor walks, travel, cooking, beautiful design, and comedy.

My goal is to help you care for your health in a way that feels supportive, realistic, and lasting.
